เชียงใหม่ขึ้นชื่อว่าเป็นเมืองที่มีประเพณี วัฒนธรรมอันงดงามและเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว ขณะเดียวกัน วัฒนธรรมของชาวซิกข์ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ก็มีอัตลักษณ์ที่โดดเด่นและน่าสนใจ แต่ยังไม่เป็นที่รู้จักอย่างแพร่หลาย ‘ต๋ามฮอยซิกข์’ เทศกาลท่องเที่ยวชุมชนชาวซิกข์ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จึงมีเป้าหมายเพื่อนำเสนออัตลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมและเรื่องราวความเป็นมาจนถึงพัฒนาการของชาวซิกข์ โดยออกแบบผ่านกราฟิกและศิลปะติดตั้งบนพื้นที่ที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับชุมชน รวมถึงมีการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อให้เกิดการเรียนรู้และเข้าถึงชุมชนชาวซิกข์ควบคู่กันไปอย่างสร้างสรรค์
Chiang Mai is a city with beautiful and unique traditions and culture. Sikhs culture in Chiang Mai has a distinctive and fascinating identity, but it is not yet widely known. ‘Tam Hoi Sikh’ Sikhs community tourism festival in Chiang Mai, aims to showcase the cultural identity and history of Sikhs through graphic design and installation art in spaces related to the community. This also includes creative activities to encourage learning about and connecting with the Sikhs community.
