ขยะดอกไม้ไทยจำนวนมากเกิดจากวัด ร้านดอกไม้ ร้านจัดดอกไม้ และสถานที่จัดงาน ซึ่งใช้ดอกไม้จำนวนมากในช่วงเวลาสั้น ภายหลังการใช้งาน ดอกไม้เหล่านี้มักถูกละทิ้งโดยขาดระบบจัดการ แอปพลิเคชันบานวนจึงถูกออกแบบขึ้นเพื่อเป็นสื่อปฏิสัมพันธ์ในการจัดการขยะดอกไม้อย่างเป็นระบบ ตั้งแต่การให้ความรู้ด้านการดูแลดอกไม้ การเลือกใช้ดอกไม้ตามฤดูกาล การคัดแยก ไปจนถึงการส่งต่อดอกไม้ไปแปรรูปโดยชุมชน พร้อมส่งเสริมการนำดอกไม้กลับมาใช้ประโยชน์และอัปไซเคิลอย่างเหมาะสม
A large amount of Thai flower waste is generated by temples, flower shops, floral studios, and event venues where flowers are used intensively within a short period of time. After use, these flowers are often discarded without proper management. Banwon is designed as an interactive application to support systematic flower waste management, from providing knowledge on flower care and seasonal selection to sorting and transferring flowers for community-based processing, while promoting appropriate reuse and upcycling.
