โครงการหนังสือสารคดีภาพเล่มนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอชีวิตของนักมวยไทย ผ่านการฝึกซ้อม วิถีชีวิต และมุมมองความคิดก่อนการขึ้นชก ถ่ายทอดบรรยากาศและความไม่แน่นอนของผลการแข่งขัน ควบคู่กับการสอดแทรกความหมายและสัญลักษณ์ทางวัฒนธรรมมวยไทย อาทิ พิธีไหว้ครู มงคล และประเจียด เพื่อสะท้อนให้เห็นมวยไทยในฐานะมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมและวิถีชีวิต ไม่ใช่เพียงกีฬาการต่อสู้
This documentary photobook aims to present the life of a Muay Thai fighter through training, daily routines, and personal reflections prior to the match. It conveys the atmosphere and uncertainty of the fight’s outcome while integrating cultural symbols such as the Wai Kru ritual, Mongkol, and Prajiad, portraying Muay Thai as a cultural heritage and way of life rather than merely a combat sport.
