ผ้าครามหมู่บ้านดอนกอยคือวิถีชีวิตที่ลึกซึ้งยิ่งกว่าการย้อมคราม แต่คือการเดินทางของกาลเวลาและการ "เลี้ยงดู" หม้อครามที่มีชีวิต เสน่ห์ที่เกิดขึ้นจากร่องรอยบนผืนผ้าและสีที่เป็นธรรมชาติ เปรียบเสมือนลมหายใจที่ไม่เคยดับของหม้อคราม ซึ่งทำให้จิตวิญญาณของหมู่บ้านแห่งนี้ยังคงดำรงอยู่และไม่มีวันตาย หนังสือเล่มนี้จึงถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อบันทึกและสืบสานมรดกวัฒนธรรมที่เปลี่ยนรากเหง้าดั้งเดิมให้กลายเป็นความยั่งยืน
